10 Must-Try Gourmet Food and Wine Pairings in the Napa Valley

One of the best ways to approach wine is by pairing it with delicious food. Explore the logic behind food and wine pairing as you savor delicious seasonal bites and wines of the Napa Valley in an immersive, communal setting. Sit back, relax, and experience what the Napa Valley does best with these 10 must-try gourmet food and wine pairings.

Knights Bridge Winery

At Knights Bridge Winery, it is the fundamental belief that ingredients of terroir, tradition, and passion apply to food as well as wine. That’s why their pairing menus complement the flavors of the wine, resulting in an incomparable Napa Valley experience. Hosted in the historic Calistoga National Bank Building, enjoy a private Knights Bridge tasting with wines from their limited release portfolio, paired with small bites from Evangeline.

VGS Chateau Potelle Winery

Visit VGS Chateau Potelle for their Signature Wine and Food Experience with wines and exquisite food bites from the Michelin starred La Toque Restaurant. After learning the ins and outs of French cuisine in France as a teenager, Chef Ken Frank achieved national acclaim after becoming Chef of La Guillotine Restaurant at only 21 years old. Frank went on to become the original Chef at Michael’s in Santa Monica, before opening his first La Toque on the Sunset Strip at age 23. Try Frank’s famous bites paired with the 35-year-old history of VGS Chateau Potelle wines.

Sterling Vineyards

Take the aerial tram up the hill to the Mykonos-inspired Sterling Vineyards. Try Sterling’s new Sparkling Experience, with sparkling wines paired individually with small bites crafted by the Sterling Culinary Team, or the optimal Platinum Experience. This one-hour food and wine experience pairs small production reserve wines with a series of delicious amuse-bouches. Make sure to stick around to hear the tolling of the historic bells. The winery’s towers house eight bells from London’s Church of St. Dunstan’s-in-the-East, which made their way to the Napa Valley after the church was destroyed during the London Blitz.
