Get Toasty at the Napa Valley’s Coziest Fireplaces

Even though the Napa Valley summers are long, we’ll do whatever we can to stay toasty while sipping local wines. Several area wineries and restaurants have fireplace-filled patios and lounges where guests can order food and drinks and relax around the flames. Here’s your ultimate guide to the Napa Valley’s coziest fireplaces.

Trinchero Napa Valley

This winery is a must-visit on your Napa Valley getaway. Absolutely stunning inside and out, Trinchero’s chic, Old World charm décor is worth the visit alone. Relax outside around their fire pit, or partake in a game of bocce ball, which is available on select dates throughout the summer. Try their Valley Floor or Mountain wine flights, which each include four wines from their respected vineyards. No need to stay inside, walk the grounds or hang outside by the fire with your glass. The best part? Trinchero is a short ten-minute walk from the Wine Country Inn.

Brasswood Bar + Kitchen

Just across St. Helena Highway from Trinchero, Brasswood Bar + Kitchen is the perfect spot to grab some grub after a wine tasting. Sit outside by their grand stone fireplace surrounded by comfortable seating underneath a covered patio. Try the stuffed portabella mushroom as you warm your toes by the fire under soft patio lights and view the gorgeous water fountain nearby. Brasswood also features a winery with 17,000 sq. feet of caves where they make their delicious boutique wines. Try their new 2015 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of brandied cherries and red raspberry. Notes of Oolong Tea, currant, and red apple finish with a hint of white pepper and cocoa powder that makes this one of our favorite wines to kick off fall. Check out our Brasswood Bar + Kitchen dining guide for more.

Domaine Carneros

Grab a glass of bubbly and head to the deck for fantastic valley views and a private tasting table next to the fireplace of this popular Napa winery. The inside seating room in this beautiful château has a lovely fireplace as well. The service is always impeccable and the wines are always delightful. If sparkling wine isn’t your thing, opt for a glass of Pinot Noir – it is excellent here.
